Job Summary
The Let's Be Better Podcast by Mothers & Fathers Truly Matter, are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Director to lead our organization's digital presence across various platforms. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies, enhance brand visibility, and engage with our audience through compelling content and data-driven insights. This role requires a blend of creative flair, analytical skills, and expertise in digital marketing tools to elevate our brand and foster meaningful relationships with our community.

You will be equipped with voice content, post-production podcast episodes, access to stock image and video platforms, and 2 inspirational storylines: 1) 50 half-marathons in 50 states: we’re running to fight for children caught in the crossfire of abandonment, alienation, and neglect; 2) the 90-STRONG challenge: a biblically inspired mental toughness journey consisting of 10 to dos, 10 to not dos, and the Ten Commandments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee content creation, including graphic design, video editing, photography, and proofreading to ensure high-quality posts.
  • Manage daily social media management activities across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok using Hootsuite.
  • Utilize SEO, keyword research, and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Web analytics) to optimize content reach and engagement.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and customer feedback for strategic insights.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns including Facebook Advertising to maximize reach and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to maintain consistent branding and positive public relations.
  • Track performance metrics, generate reports using Google Analytics and other tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Foster strong relationship management with influencers, partners, and the online community to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in digital marketing, social media management, and new platform features to innovate strategies.

Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a leadership role such as Social Media Director or similar position.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite) for content creation.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, and photography for social media content.
  • Familiarity with social media tools like Hootsuite and other scheduling or analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging content tailored for diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail in proofreading and branding consistency.
  • Ability to analyze data insights to inform strategic decisions that improve engagement metrics. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative professional passionate about digital marketing and social media innovation to make a significant impact on our brand’s growth trajectory.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
