The Lead Cashier serves as a role model for Mother’s Market values and supports leadership in maintaining efficient, friendly, and organized front-end operations.
Wage Range: $18-$20/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate customer service at the register
- Support daily front-end operations and assist with opening and closing procedures
- Help train, coach, and support cashier team members
- Assist with register balancing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Address customer questions and assist with issue resolution as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout and front-end areas
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and cash-handling standards
- Support leadership in managing lines, breaks, and workflow
- Promote Mother’s Market values, including wellness, sustainability, and community
- Work collaboratively with store leadership and team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cashier or customer service experience required
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
