The Warehouse and Packaging Brewer I performs a variety of tasks across the brewery with accuracy and attention to detail, including fulfillment of distributor orders and side stream transfers.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Fulfills transfer and pumping of side stream effluent to waste disposal site
Stages finished goods for distributor orders
Rotates inventory between Butler Warehouse Suites; moves finished goods from packaging to warehouse
Ensures proper finished goods, packaging, and raw materials inventory placement and rotation
Ensures that brewing operations have access to the right raw materials and packaging materials
Receives all packaging and raw materials orders during shift
Order Fulfillment
Picks and loads Hensley orders; creates and posts invoices in EKOS for Hensley orders and creates credit memos in EKOS for Hensley returned kegs
Packaging Operations
Operates keg cleaning and filling equipment
Completes cleaning tasks as assigned by the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
Operates canning equipment, including depal, conveyors, ink jets, filler, and cartoner
Performs quality tasks including retaining samples, seam checks, and TPO measurements
Facilities and Equipment
Performs daily inspection of forklift and completes documentation
Submits requests for unplanned maintenance for all warehouse facilities and equipment as needed
Corporate Services
Fulfills intra-company transfers of miscellaneous items as assigned
Monitors Basecamp, email, and shared logs on Google Drive each shift
Contributes to the development and improvement of warehouse SOPs
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
6 Months of food and beverage manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Forklift operator’s certificate
Required Abilities
Able to maneuver 165lbs and lift 165lbs
Lift up to 65lbs independently from floor, at waist level, and above waist
Able to stand for 10 hours per day
Able to twist, crouch, bend, and stoop multiple times per day
Can understand and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and handle chemicals in a safe manner
