Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. This individual will assist with planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, classroom activities, and fostering a welcoming environment for children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with MA EEC standards
- Provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Observe and assess children’s development and maintain documentation
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Supervise assistant teachers and collaborate on classroom management
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress and daily activities
- Ensure compliance with all EEC licensing regulations and center policies
- Attend required professional development and staff meetings
Qualifications:
- EEC Teacher certification or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and curriculum planning
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
