Maintenance Technician

Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've provided spiritually motived care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician - Full-Time.
- $18 - $22 per hour based on skills and experience.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in building and preventive maintenance required.
- Ability to operate common hand tools.
- Knowledge and interest in working with elderly residents.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
- Preventive maintenance and repairs on all building equipment.
- Basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and refinishing work as needed.
- Mechanical repairs on hospital beds, lifts, stands, wheelchairs, commercial kitchen equipment, and commercial laundry equipment.
- Assist with snow removal using appropriate equipment, including snowplows.
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and up-keep of computers.
