Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting as needed.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support hotel operations.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
• Conduct routine floor care tasks like polishing floors and carpets to preserve their appearance and safety standards.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures diligently to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work demonstrates familiarity with hospitality industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift supplies, and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning new skills is valued.
