Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and CMMS software
- Repair or replace defective components, including welding and residential painting as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose problems
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust equipment performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within CMMS systems
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance or equipment upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, electrical systems, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with schematics, CMMS software, PLCs, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Ability to perform residential painting and basic carpentry tasks is a plus
- Supervising or leadership experience is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork
- Knowledge of customer service principles to support internal clients effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or technical training in electrical or mechanical disciplines are preferred
