What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeping position at Motel 6?
The Motel 6 Newport, located in Newport , Rhode Island, Our 76 guestroom hotel has several openings for the position of Housekeeper. Our Housekeepers pride themselves on offering exceptional service that meets and exceeds our customers' expectations. In this highly visible position you will be responsible for:
- Cleans guest rooms by making beds, replacing used towels, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms ensuring new toiletries are provided.
- Removes all trash from guest rooms and ensures furniture is dusted and walls and windows are cleaned.
- Stocks and maintains housekeeping supply rooms.
- Ensures a high level of customer service is provided at all times.
- Meets productivity standards of cleaning 15 rooms daily.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior housekeeping experience preferably in a hotel setting preferred.
- Ability to work a weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
