Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures following established safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Operate various cleaning equipment and tools safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial supplies.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and detergents while adhering to safety guidelines for handling chemicals.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs, provide updates on completed tasks, and address any special requests or concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of janitorial procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, surface sanitation, floor care techniques, and carpet cleaning methods.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during outdoor work or when moving furniture.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
