Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and clean hard floor surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas, including toiletries and linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed, including industrial cleaning tasks.
- Maintain an organized supply cart and ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
