We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
- Balance daily revenue reports, verify charges, and prepare audit reports for management review
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy
- Respond to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette
- Assist guests with reservations, billing issues, and special requests to enhance their stay
- Maintain front desk operations including managing guest relations, providing information about hotel amenities, and addressing concerns promptly
- Ensure security protocols are followed during night hours to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Prepare daily reports and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management for resolution
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred
- Bilingual skills or multilingual abilities are considered a strong asset
- Experience working at the front desk or in guest services roles within hotels or resorts is highly desirable
- Familiarity with night audit procedures, hotel management systems, and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective communication and phone etiquette, are essential
- Prior experience working during night shifts in a hospitality setting will be beneficial
