Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and mechanical components promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct welding repairs, residential painting, and other specialized maintenance tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs for accountability.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff or contractors during large projects or emergency repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately.
- Oversee facilities maintenance projects that enhance hotel operations while delivering excellent customer service experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or hotel maintenance with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Hands-on skills in welding, residential painting, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints confidently.
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and external contractors effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and documentation.
