Job seekers interested in working in a high-energy environment with growth opportunities and flexible hours should start their application today!Compensation:$10 - $12 hourlyResponsibilities:Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requestsCommunicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are readyField customer complaints when necessaryPerform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbersGreet guests warmly and check them into their rooms, providing information about the hotel's amenities and servicesHandle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, finding solutions to any issues that ariseProcess payments and maintain accurate records of room charges, incidentals, and other feesManage room inventory, ensuring that rooms are available for check-in and coordinating with housekeeping to prepare rooms for new arrivalsAnswer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information about the hotel and its servicesProvide concierge services, including making reservations for restaurants, transportation, and local attractionsMaintain a secure environment by monitoring guest access to the hotel and ensuring that only registered guests have access to the roomsFollow all safety and security protocols to ensure that guests and staff are safeCoordinate with other staff members, including housekeeping, maintenance, and management, to ensure that the hotel runs smoothlyMaintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service at all timesQualifications:Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situationsDisplays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skillsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systemsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a hotel or hospitality role is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and a commitment to customer serviceProficiency in using hotel management software and other computer systemsFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as neededPhysical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry heavy itemsAbout CompanyMotel 6 Groves, TX is located off of Texas Highway 73 and Highway 347.Studio 6 Orange Texas is conveniently located off I-10 on Highway 62 North.
