Motel 6 Everett (North), WA - Manager On Duty

Our Motel 6 location in Everett, WA has an immediate need for a Manager on Duty. This team member is crucial to our success working closely with the General Manager to ensure the property is running smoothly and both guests and employees are taken care of. The MOD will manage the property when the General Manager is off or away from the property. They will also play an integral part in the training, performance management, and ongoing development of the property’s team members. MODs will function in all aspects of the property including guest services, housekeeping, laundry and occasional maintenance.

The person selected for this role will have:

• 1 years of experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Supervisor, Department Head, etc.– preferably in a fast food, retail or hospitality environment.
• Exposure to managing a team
• Exposure to banking including preparing and making deposits and completion of associated paperwork
• Computer efficiency including basic to intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Passion for customer service
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
• Problem identification and resolution skills
• Proven ability to coach and counsel team members
