Assistant General Manager - Motel 6 Austin North

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team at our Motel 6 Austin North property. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations, enhance guest satisfaction, and support the development of our talented staff. The ideal candidate will bring hospitality management expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services to ensure the continued success of our hotel.

Duties

• Assist in managing all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
• Lead and supervise staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences and adherence to service standards
• Handle guest relations issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
• Support human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and brand standards

Experience

• Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
• Strong background in hotel operations, including front desk management and guest services
• G6 Brand Experience preferred.
• Experience with revenue management, budgeting, and human resources practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in a multilingual or bilingual environment preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and operational excellence
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, night audit procedures, and resort-style hospitality environments is advantageous
• Prior hotel or resort experience is highly desirable
