Key Details:
Qualifications:
- 2 years of production or industrial experience.
- Experience with operating forklifts and industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work in an environment subject to seasonal temperature variations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering molten aluminum
- Operating furnaces and the ingot casting line.
- Furnace sampling, tapping and charging
- Handling molten aluminum, dross, and ladles.
- Ladle sampling and operating spectrometers
Schedule:
- Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am).
- Work Week: Alternating schedule of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next.
- Overtime: Opportunities are available.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: Starts at $21.50/hr, with top out at $32.55/hr reached through incremental raises.
- Additional Earnings:
- $1.00/hr heat differential in the summer.
- Night shift differential.
