Together, Moss and Bedrock create a holistic environment where members can move, restore, and connect in a refined, community-focused setting.POSITION OVERVIEW:Moss New York is seeking a meticulous, reliable, and detail-driven Overnight Housekeeper to support the nightly reset and deep cleanliness of our private members' club. This role is critical to ensuring that all guest-facing and back-of-house spaces are immaculately cleaned, restored, and prepared before daily operations resume.Working during overnight hours while the club is closed, the Overnight Housekeeper is entrusted with the full reset of the space—upholding Moss New York's elevated standards of cleanliness, presentation, and care. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in behind-the-scenes excellence and understands that exceptional guest experiences begin with pristine environments.COMPENSATION:The hourly wage for this position is $24.00 – $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.CLASSIFICATION:This is a non-exempt, hourly position. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are eligible for overtime pay at one and a half times your regular rate for all hours worked over 40 in a single workweek.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Overnight Cleaning & Club ResetPerform comprehensive overnight cleaning of the entire private members' club while operations are closed.Deep clean all guest-facing and non-guest-facing areas, including lounges, dining spaces, bars, restrooms, locker rooms, corridors, offices, staff areas, and service spaces.Ensure all spaces are fully reset and prepared to Moss New York standards prior to reopening.Detailed Cleaning ResponsibilitiesDust all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, décor, baseboards, vents, and architectural details.Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop all hard flooring using appropriate cleaning methods.Sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and high-touch surfaces with approved cleaning products.Clean mirrors, glass, windows, and reflective surfaces to a streak-free finish.Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, and ensure waste is properly removed from the premises.Standards, Safety & SuppliesEnsure all cleaning tasks meet Moss New York's luxury presentation and hygiene standards.Properly use, store, and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management of inventory needs.Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns discovered during overnight cleaning.QUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience in overnight housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred; luxury hospitality experience a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and consistency.Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing cleaning tasks for extended periods.Comfortable working overnight hours in a quiet, closed operational environment.EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:Medical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k)Pre-Tax Commuter benefitsDisability insuranceOPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL:Moss is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that seeks to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
