Position Overview
We are a growing collection law firm with approximately 90 employees seeking a Data Analytics & Operations Manager to help us use data to improve collections, productivity, and compliance. We are looking for someone who can analyze our data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, develop meaningful KPIs, and work with leadership to turn those insights into operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to measure firm, department, and employee performance.
· Analyze collection results, account inventory, payment activity, legal activity, productivity, compliance, and other operational data.
· Identify trends, bottlenecks, underperforming areas, compliance risks, and opportunities to improve recoveries and efficiency.
· Work with leadership and department managers to improve workflows and operational performance.
· Analyze staffing, workloads, and productivity to help management allocate resources effectively.
· Evaluate collection and legal strategies to determine which activities produce the best results while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, client requirements, and firm policies.
· Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and other continuous-improvement methodologies to identify waste, reduce process variation, improve efficiency, and develop measurable operational improvements; Lean Six Sigma certification or practical experience is preferred.
· Prepare clear, actionable analysis and recommendations for firm leadership.
· Partner with our software developer on data, reporting, automation, and technology initiatives.
Qualifications
· 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations analysis, compliance analytics, or a similar role.
· Experience working in a heavily regulated field.
· Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills.
· Programming experience, particularly Python or similar tools, is a plus.
· Demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma or similar process-improvement methodologies is preferred.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and both written and verbal communication skills.
