Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient distribution processes, and lead a team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and warehouse experience. This role is critical in maintaining optimal warehouse performance, safety compliance, and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic environment that includes shipping & receiving activities.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and materials handling
- Manage warehouse distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment for materials handling and heavy lifting tasks
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and OSHA standards across all warehouse activities
- Monitor inventory levels, perform regular audits, and enforce inventory control procedures
- Keep workspaces clean and organized.
- Perform other duties specified by management.
- Promptly and accurately reports accidents and incidents.
- Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak, and read in English.
- Understanding of basic computer uses for printing labels and tags for shipping.

JOB SUMMARY: Warehouse supervisor
Responsibilities
Assist the shipping manager in running the warehouse. Preparing all orders for delivery, including insuring order accuracy, boxing, loading carts and trucks as necessary and replenishing supplies in inventory. Additional responsibilities are listed below.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Work under direct supervision and technical direction.
- Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance.
- Ability to work on your feet for most if not all of the day.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work on greenhouse roofs when called upon.
- Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time starting at $18 per hour depending on experience.
