Pest Control Technician

Mosquito Squad Plus is a mosquito and pest control service company. We are family owned and operated. We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Mosquito Squad Plus team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician and will report to our office located in Manhattan, KS.

This role is designed to prepare you for future leadership positions within the company by providing comprehensive training in field operations, safety protocols, customer service, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the physical capability to meet the demands of the role.

• $19.00 - $24.00 an hour

Responsibilities include:

• Follow assigned daily route and timeline provided by administrative staff to service assigned accounts
• Ensures vehicles and equipment are maintained and cleaned
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Assist in planning and executing pesticide application services across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Must be able to carry a backpack blower, approx. 45 lbs. on uneven terrain

Qualifications:

• This is an opportunity for a great career with no experience necessary; we will train you
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• Must pass Kansas Pesticide Applicator Exam (all test fees paid, and paid training provided)
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A background check will be performed on all new hires

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
