Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify pest activity and entry points.
- Implement pest control treatments using chemical agents, mechanical tools, or integrated pest management strategies.
- Safely handle and apply pesticides and other chemical agents following strict safety protocols, including respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures.
- Operate company vehicles, power tools, and hand tools to access treatment areas effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, treatment locations, and pest activity reports for compliance and future reference.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work activities and when handling chemicals or working in confined spaces.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in pest control, entomology, pesticide management, or related fields such as farming, landscaping, agriculture, or lawn care is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and outdoor equipment is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Basic understanding of integrated pest management principles and pesticide application knowledge is a plus.
