We are a locally owned, veteran owned, family owned small business franchise based out of Tea, SD serving the Sioux Empire. Our focus is solely on forming positive relationships and providing support to homeowners by providing mosquito, flea and tick control treatments.

Job Summary

This internship will be dynamic and require you to wear different hats related to marketing and sales. You will help plan and execute various marketing tactics to attract customers around the area.

Responsibilities

1. Social Media

   • Personalize social media pages for Mosquito Hunters.
   • Research and generate content for posts that showcase our services and expertise.
   • Develop and maintain a posting schedule to keep our audience engaged.

2. Community Events

   • Research local home and garden shows and other community events where we can connect with potential customers.
   • Attend events and represent Mosquito Hunters with enthusiasm and professionalism.
   • Hand out marketing materials, such as flyers and brochures, to interested individuals.

3. Guerrilla Marketing

   • Place lawn signs and door hangers in neighborhoods where we provide service.
   • Park in high visibility spots, also known as parking lot marketing.
   • Wear the Gunther mascot costume and wave at passersby to grab their attention.

Qualifications

We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable self-starters with an interest in marketing. No previous marketing experience is required, but a friendly demeanor, strong work ethic, experience with social media systems, and a desire to learn are musts.
