Role Description
We are seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our team as a Field Specialist. This is a commission-based role with strong earning potential for those who are driven and customer-focused. The Field Specialist will be responsible for mosquito and pest control services, customer interaction, and maintaining safety and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow a computerized daily route
- Participate fully in certification and training programs to meet licensing requirements
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing exceptional service
- Perform mosquito control work, including mixing and applying pesticide products
- Operate a backpack blower (up to 60 pounds) in heat and humidity, often through uneven terrain
- Respond to customer inquiries and notify owner(s) of complaints or issues for timely resolution
- Complete job documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate it safely and legally
- Work in compliance with OSHA policies, state requirements, and safety procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 4 years
- Excellent customer relation skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Must pass drug testing and background checks
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, carry, push, and pull during work
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak periods
