Skills and Knowledge:
- Animal Handling: Experience with safe and humane capture, handling, and restraint techniques for various wildlife species.
- Wildlife Knowledge: Strong understanding of local wildlife species, their habitats, and ecological roles.
- Fieldwork Skills: Experience conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring populations
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with using GPS units, one ways, and other field equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, with moderate physical stamina for tasks like carrying equipment and using ladders to climb roofs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings, report data, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Problem-solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems that may arise in the field.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate data collection and meticulous record-keeping are crucial.

Requirements:
- High School graduate / GED
- Valid Driver’s license with an excellent driving record needed
- Wildlife experience needed
- Job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling
- Extended hours and weekends when necessaryWork in a safe manner in accordance with state requirements, OSHA policies and procedures, and maintaining and utilizing required safety equipment when performing duties.
