About the Internship
Moskowitz Legal Group (MLG), a law firm focusing on long-term-care collections, Medicaid planning, guardianships, and estate matters, is seeking motivated interns for our Spring Legal Internship Program.
This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on exposure to real legal work during the academic semester. Interns will work closely with attorneys and senior staff on active matters and gain practical insight into how a law firm operates day-to-day.
This is an unpaid educational internship, intended to offer skills development, mentorship, and professional experience, with potential consideration for extended or future paid opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will support attorneys and senior staff with tasks including, but not limited to:
- Assisting with Medicaid applications, guardianship preparation, and estate-related matters
- Drafting legal correspondence, summaries, notices, and internal memoranda
- Reviewing billing records, facility documents, and case materials
- Conducting preliminary legal and factual research
- Supporting case organization and file management
- Attending meetings and learning directly from case managers working on active matters
