Landscape Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through a variety of landscaping and horticultural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable operating a range of tools and equipment. Duties

• Perform lawn care including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, mulching.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment like excavators for various landscaping projects.
• Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, and removal when necessary.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around properties.
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with horticulture practices and plant care techniques.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely.
• Strong understanding of landscaping principles including hardscape installation and tree trimming.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs.
• A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and safety standards is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
