Summary
Moses Lake Christian Academy (MLCA) is seeking a part-time educational assistant for the 2026-27 school year. This position will assist in providing instruction and supervision of students. The ideal candidate will nurture students academically, spiritually, and socially. Responsibilities:
- Assist teaching staff with small group instruction.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and pick-up/drop-off times.
- Work effectively with groups or individual students with or without supervision.
- Uphold and model Christian values, demonstrating Christ-like leadership and behavior in and out of the classroom.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-related activities.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A clear testimony of faith, regular church attendance, and agreement with the school’s statement of faith.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to remain positive, flexible, calm, and patient in all situations.
- Passion for working with a variety of students.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Must pass a background check and meet all school and state requirements.
