Role Description The Master Mechanic Electrical is a full-time, on-site role based in Greensboro, NC, responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems throughout the health system’s facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing advanced electrical maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure, as well as diagnosing complex electrical issues and implementing effective solutions. The person in this role conducts preventive maintenance tasks, inspects electrical components for safety and compliance, and responds to service requests to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted patient care. Additional duties include working with heavy equipment and building systems, coordinating with other trades and departments, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and following all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in general Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of electrical building systems and facility infrastructure.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including routine inspections, testing, and scheduled servicing of electrical equipment.
- Ability to work safely with Heavy Equipment and larger electrical systems commonly found in hospital and industrial environments.
- Advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Relevant technical training or certification in electrical systems; journeyman or master electrician license preferred, as required by local regulations.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for healthcare or similar critical environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary facilities team.
- Willingness to work shifts, participate in on-call rotations, and respond to emergencies as needed.
