Mobility Engineer - Powertrain Test & Development

Join a team at the forefront of next-generation armored vehicle development, supporting critical ground combat platforms. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in hands-on testing environments and want to work directly with advanced powertrain systems. US Citizenship only.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform test & development of full powerpack systems (engine, transmission, hybrid/electric components, cooling, air handling)
• Execute testing on bench, dynamometer (dyno), and in-vehicle platforms
• Develop and run test procedures (setup, instrumentation, execution, data analysis, reporting)
• Support validation & verification (V&V) and design refinement
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and generate engineering reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Support test facility operations, including setup, installation, and commissioning

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related STEM Degree)
• 5 years of powertrain testing & development experience
• Hands-on experience with:
• • Engine / transmission / hybrid systems
  • Dyno testing (engine or chassis dyno)
  • Instrumentation & data acquisition
• Strong background in test procedures, validation, and data analysis
• Experience working with automotive, heavy-duty, or propulsion systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience with military or ground vehicle platforms or Heavy Duty/Heavy Weight
• Familiarity with Teamcenter or PLM tools
• Exposure to electrified propulsion systems (hybrid/EV)
