Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $160,000
Test Engineer to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture & Delivery (A&D) Automated Test & Verification (ATV) Team. This role develops and supports test automation software products that enable execution of the GWS contract on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy software products that support automated test and verification efforts
- Contribute to software development activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Partner with product teams to develop technical solutions that support program objectives
- Support Agile development activities and participate in team execution using collaboration and configuration management tools
- Develop and conduct testing in HWIL environment
- Automate current manual test procedures
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM field from an accredited institution
- Professional experience in one or more phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
- Professional software development experience using Eggplant, Python, Bash or similar programming languages
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams
- Experience with test automation software development
- Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
- Experience serving in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Current CompTIA Security certification
