Full-Time with an ESOP Contractor | Schedule: 9x80 (Every Other Friday Off)
Systems Engineer to support the GMD Weapon Systems (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) Team. This role is responsible for developing Systems Engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to systems engineering efforts on large, complex defense systems
- Develop, manage, and trace requirements using DOORS
- Support system verification and technical planning activities
- Collaborate with integrated product teams and design engineers across the program
- Participate in peer reviews, design meetings, and formal milestone events
- Work independently or as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced development environment
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 3 years of experience
- Strong background in systems engineering and verification
- Experience using IBM DOORS for requirements management
- Ability to lead or support technical efforts within a systems engineering discipline
- Demonstrated experience working independently and within cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with system-of-systems design in a defense or aerospace environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using JIRA for issue and task tracking
- Experience supporting the GWS or GMD programs
- Prior work on MDA or missile defense efforts

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
