This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional coordination for the design, procurement, and production of Engineering Development Models (EDMs) for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) program.
- Develop a deep understanding of CWL systems and components to support system-level integration and qualification.
- Generate and manage system-level documentation, including Hardware Configuration Item (HWCI) specifications and test methods.
- Support the development of test equipment and procedures for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT).
- Present technical recommendations and detailed design explanations to internal leadership and U.S. Navy customer teams.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to resolve issues in system integration labs, production, or field environments.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment across design, testing, and qualification milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field required.
- 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years.
- U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required.
- Prior experience serving as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on defense-related systems.
- Familiarity with Navy development and shipboard qualification processes.
- Understanding of the System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
- Experience in system-level hardware testing, including Assembly Level Test, Unit Test, Integration Test, and System Performance Test.
- Hands-on background in digital and/or analog hardware development and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage technical issues during system integration, field activities, and production phases.
- Agile program experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
