What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service and Maintenance Remodeler position at Mosby Building Arts?
Title: SAM Remodeler
Reports To: Project Manager
Job Purpose: To bring advanced remodeling skills, effective client communication, and strong craftsmanship to support the team where the need is greatest, including completing punch list items, performing handyman-level (SAM) work, and floating between job sites to assist Project Managers and crews as needed.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform advanced remodeling and general handyman (SAM) work as required.
- Complete punch list items accurately, efficiently, and to Mosby's quality standards.
- Float from job to job as needed to provide support to Project Managers and crews.
- Source, transport, and handle materials needed for assigned tasks across job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Provide excellent communication to clients
- Ensure all assigned tasks are handled professionally and completed on schedule.
- Provide assistance and support on any task to Project Manager as needed.
Minimum requirements:
· 5 years minimum experience in residential building & remodeling
· Proven, advanced remodeling skills. Well rounded in all areas of construction
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and scope of work.
- Excellent communication, organization, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple small assignments across different jobs
- Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet and our CRM system preferred
- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Supply your own tools.
- Ability to stand, walk, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
- Obtain and maintain class E driver’s license, reliable form of transportation, and current auto insurance
