We are seeking a Finance Specialist responsible for the precise management of key financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Asset System Management: Taking full responsibility for the maintenance and management of Mosaic’s asset management system.

Transaction Execution: Efficiently completing all critical funds transfers, including deposits, ACHs, wires, and book transfers from Mosaic accounts.

Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely Affiliate financial statements.

General Ledger Oversight: Executing essential month-end procedures, including the preparation of monthly journal entries and the thorough reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

What You Bring
We are seeking a seasoned accountant whose expertise will be integral to maintaining the financial accuracy and compliance of our diverse organizations. You are the ideal candidate if you possess:

Financial Foundation: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience & Expertise: A minimum of five years of work experience in financial management and accounting, demonstrating significant operational and compliance knowledge.

Mastery of Asset & Lease Accounting: Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of owned and leased assets within our systems, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP compliance standards for acquisition, disposal, and timely depreciation/amortization.

Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Proven capacity for full-cycle monthly accounting and financial statement preparation across various affiliated entities, alongside effective coordination and assistance with the annual audit process and tax compliance.

System Expertise & Operational Execution: The ability to be the subject matter expert for the fixed asset system, efficient in executing core daily/monthly transactions (deposits, transfers, journal entries), and ensuring proper financial coding and controls.
