In collaboration with the Vice President of Grid Modernization, the Director provides strategic leadership and mentorship to the Grid Modernization team, driving performance and continuous improvement.

- You are not required to report into a Mosaic office; however, there is travel to client locations across North America required for this role (~50%)
- Geographic flexibility: This position is open to candidates residing anywhere in the US.
- Candidate must have experience leading grid modernization and complex control system integration projects, including client advisory, team leadership, and utility consulting expertise with platforms such as ABB, OSI, GE, or Schneider Electric.

Roles and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Director, Grid Modernization role are as follows:
- Trusted Advisor Services: Provide trusted advisor services for complex system integration projects, leading strategic conversations with clients to shape future-state application design, business processes, and data structures, and guide their organization toward its long-term goals.
- Practice Area Growth: Collaborate with sales and project teams to promote knowledge sharing, develop new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth in existing accounts.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing strategic guidance, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Service Offering Innovation: Continuously evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to drive service innovation and differentiation.
- Team Leadership: Strongly lead within the practice area and across project teams by setting clear expectations, providing mentorship, and developing capabilities.
- Business Development: Support business development efforts by actively networking, pursuing new client relationships, and participating in industry events.
Skills And Experience
- Extensive experience in a consulting or professional services environment, focusing on growth, customer relationship management, and service innovation.
- Proven track record of leading multiple projects, driving revenue growth, establishing and managing successful client relationships, and delivering high-quality consulting services.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a production/deadline-driven environment.
- The ability to see multiple points of view and guide diverse teams and clients on a wide range of technical matters.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and work through conflict.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ten plus years of experience with complex control system design, development, and deployment.
- Experience with ABB, OSI, GE, or Schneider Electric systems and tools.

Salary : $180,000 - $265,000
