Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Kestrel Apartments, a brand-new luxury mid-rise apartment community. This candidate has knowledge of various maintenance functions including and not limited to plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry skills, appliance, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance including grounds and trash management.
• Perform duties necessary to restore apartments to “rent ready” status and ensure that all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule in accordance with the Company’s Apartment Make-Ready Policy.
• Perform plumbing and appliance repairs and installations, including troubleshooting.
• Perform residential painting projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of supplies.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, staff or management.
• Participate in emergency "on-call" after hours rotation.
• Overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must reside within 30 minutes of Bozeman, MT.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Must be HVAC Certified.
• Manage a team and be a contributing member
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in apartment maintenance is essential.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and with management.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
