About Mosaic Psychological Services
Mosaic Psychological Services is a group behavioral health practice in Thomasville, Georgia, and Tallahassee, Florida, with a growing telehealth presence that reaches clients wherever our clinicians are licensed, including much of the country through PSYPACT. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families of every background and faith across the South Georgia and North Florida areas. Under the leadership of Dr. Shannon D. Mullen, our team of clinicians provides psychological testing, individual and family therapy, and specialty care in a collaborative, consultation-rich environment.
Our clinical work is grounded in a Christian anthropology: a view of each person as a unity of body, mind, and spirit, created with inherent dignity, made for relationship, and capable of growth in virtue and healing. That vision shapes how we care for every client, whatever their beliefs, and for clients who seek it, we offer faith-integrated therapy consistent with the Catholic intellectual tradition.
Our clinicians hold specialties including trauma and betrayal trauma, compulsive sexual behavior, child and adolescent care, couples work, and faith-integrated therapy for clients who request it. We take referrals seriously, we staff cases together, and we support clinicians in developing the niche they actually want to practice in.
The Opportunity
We are hiring clinicians at every stage of licensure — Psychologists (PhD/PsyD), LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs, as well as postdoctoral psychology residents, LMSWs, APCs, AMFTs, and Florida-registered interns working toward independent licensure. Positions are full-time or part-time, structured as independent contractor (1099) roles for licensed clinicians and W2 employment for associate-level clinicians and postdoctoral residents. You choose your own hours, and you can practice in our Tallahassee or Thomasville office, entirely by telehealth, or a mix of both. This is a role designed to fit around your life rather than the reverse. Clinicians are encouraged to prioritize their family time over professional life with an eye toward growth and integration.
You would:
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to a caseload matched to your clinical interests and availability
- Complete timely clinical documentation in our EHR (ICANotes)
- Participate in case consultation with a multidisciplinary team
What We Offer
- Genuinely flexible scheduling. Set your own hours and your own caseload size. Full-time, part-time, or a four-day week — the schedule is yours to build.
- Work where you want. Office space in our Thomasville or Tallahassee location, full telehealth, or any combination.
- Caseload you help shape. Tell us the populations and presenting concerns you want to work with, and we route referrals accordingly.
- Steady referral flow. You focus on clinical work; we handle intake, scheduling, credentialing, billing, and collections.
- Administrative support that is real. Credentialing with major payers, insurance verification, and claims management are handled in-house.
- Peer consultation and community. Regular case consultation with an experienced, multidisciplinary team — the collegiality of a group practice with the autonomy of private practice.
- Room to specialize. Support for certification pursuits, CE, and building a specialty practice within the group.
- Supervision toward licensure. For pre-licensure clinicians, we provide the board-approved supervision you need to accrue hours toward your LCSW, LPC, LMFT, CSAT Supervision or psychology license — in-house.
Qualifications
Independently licensed clinicians:
- Active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LPC (Georgia) / LMHC (Florida), or LMFT in the state where you will practice: Georgia for Thomasville, Florida for Tallahassee, or both (or license-eligible with endorsement in progress)
- Doctoral or master’s degree from an accredited program in psychology, social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
Pre-licensure clinicians (we welcome you):
- Postdoctoral psychology residents who have completed an accredited doctoral program and internship and are accruing hours toward licensure
- LMSWs, APCs, and AMFTs holding a current Georgia associate-level credential, or Florida registered interns in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy, working toward independent licensure
- Degree conferred from an accredited program, with all required practicum or internship hours completed
- Willingness to participate in structured, board-compliant supervision and to document hours accordingly
All applicants:
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentials.
- Current professional liability (malpractice) insurance, maintained independently by 1099 contractors
Preferred:
- Georgia/Florida licensure or willingness to pursue it (we serve clients across the Georgia–Florida line)
- PSYPACT authority to practice telepsychology (psychologists); Georgia and Florida are both PSYPACT states
- Experience with trauma-focused modalities (EMDR, CPT, TF-CBT, IFS etc.),
- Couples work (EFT, Gottman, etc.)
- Child and Adolescent care
- Experience and training treating OCD (ERP specialists)
- Familiarity with a Christian anthropology of the human person and interest in providing faith-integrated care for clients who specifically request it
- Comfort with electronic health records and telehealth platforms

Clinicians must be authorized in the state where each client is located at the time of the session: a Georgia or Florida license, PSYPACT telepsychology authority for psychologists, or Florida’s out-of-state telehealth registration.
