Dental Billing & Insurance Specialist

High Volume, Professional Oral Surgery Office has an opening for a Billing & Insurance Specialist.

We are looking for any candidate that is eager to learn, new to the work force or interested in making a career change!
This is a full-time position and must have a great attitude. We want people to see you smile both in person and over the telephone!
We have multiple offices throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Willing to train skills that include, but are not limited to:

• Posting insurance and patient payments including: electronic, check, and credit card payments
• Process denials: contact insurance companies regarding delayed payments and missing information
• Strong ability to audit accounts to determine patient vs. insurance balances
• Accurately post all insurance payments received by the end of the following day
• Creating daily bank deposits of all collections (cash, credit cards, EFTs, personal checks, and insurance checks)
• Answering phone calls or emails from patients that have any questions
