Job Summary
The Delivery driver & Merchandiser at Mosaic Food & Beverage is responsible for driving and delivering food and beverage products to assigned accounts on specified routes.
Job Responsibilities
- Delivers products to grocery stores, markets, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and golf courses on and assigned route. Merchandise and stock store shelves, displays and rotates products according to company standards. Picks up company property from customer locations and collect returns.
- Utilize computer technology to for accurate inventory records, creates customer invoices, and create new orders.
- Provides excellent customer service and meets customer’s expectations through communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures including DOT regulations.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Available to work early morning shifts 3-4 days per week.
- Minimum of one year of work experience is preferred.
- Local delivery experience and operation of a box truck preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting, bending, squatting and placing products from the truck to the ground, hand trucks, or carts to shelves.
- Lifting: Frequent- Lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
- Climbing: Frequent entering and exiting the cab and cargo area of a truck
- Driving: Constant travel between customer locations
- Ability to work in environments where temperatures vary with the seasons
- Speaking: Constantly with customers (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
Mobility: Frequent travel throughout customer locations, including walking and navigating through store aisles.
