What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Maintenance position at Mosaic Business Services?
Summary
Part of a maintenance team that is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of all residential properties.
Essential Functions:
Performs interior and exterior cosmetic repairs that may include painting , dry wall patching, install or repair. Floor maintenance or repair and other necessary repairs to maintain a high level of functionality and professional appearance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance in timely manner and on budget
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove or replace defective parts.
- Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance that may include plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems
- Engages in ground maintenance activities to ensure parking lot and exterior surroundings are accessible, safe and maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all building occupants, management and coworkers while working in a team environment
- Ability to fill out all relevant paperwork, work orders and timesheets.
- Ability to work off of a budget. Work efficiently, limit trips to the store and show up prepared for the job at hand.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually
- Must be available to work after general office hours, week ends and holidays and in emergency situations as needed
- Performs all duties as assigned
Work environment:
This job performs physically demanding work. May work at heights and in all weather conditions. The use of personal protection equipment is required. May also be asked to do minimal office and computer work.

Typical hours of work:
This is a full time position 40hrs/wk. Days and hours are typically Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. Position is expected to be on call for any issues that may arise after hours, on weekends and/or holidays.
