About the Role
Mosaic ATM is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This position is contingent up contract award.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the effective management and/or day-to-day supervision of QA engineering and/or inspection.
- Establishes and maintains quality assurance programs, procedures, and controls ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established company standards necessary to maintain lasting client satisfaction.
- Works directly with manufacturing to conduct continuing inspections and audits and to enforce requirements as specified by raw materials, ingredients, product and package specifications, and regulatory agencies.
- Establishes and executes inspections prior to the processing of raw materials and/or ingredients; monitors good housekeeping practices, employee hygiene, and equipment sanitation; analyzes plant error, salvage, and spoilage reports for significant findings and conclusions;
- Works with research and development during new product start-ups and establishes key checkpoints for new products and processes.
- Advises management of test trends, returns, vendor performance and audit results and corrective action needed.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a QA Manager, QA Lead, or similar role, with 7 years in quality assurance (QA) and at least 3 years in a management position.
- Proven experience managing QA teams, including training, performance management, and team development.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience with performance testing, load testing, and security testing.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve quality objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- US Citizen
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree in Quality Management or a related field.
- Relevant certification in Quality Management (Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ISTQB).
