Fully dedicated to the program, this role acts as the primary business counterpart to the IT Program Manager and Systems Integrator (SI) Lead, with accountability for driving successful delivery and ensuring alignment with the program’s guiding principles.
Duties & Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Governance:
- Serve as the overall business lead for the ERP transformation program.
- Co-lead the program in partnership with the IT Program Manager and SI Lead.
- Operate within the established program governance framework, ensuring alignment with program guiding principles, defined decision-making processes, escalation paths, and reporting.
- Own business decision-making for process design, prioritization, and scope trade-offs within the governance framework.
- Accountable for business outcomes, including adoption of standardized processes and achievement of program objectives.
- Collaborate with and lead cross-functional Business Process Owners to standardize and adopt end-to-end processes aligned with ERP functionality and best practices.
- Drive accountability among Business Process Owners for process design decisions and successful adoption of standardized processes.
- Resolve cross-segment process conflicts and escalate decisions through the established governance framework as needed.
- Champion a “fit-to-standard” mindset, minimizing customization while ensuring business needs are met.
- Accountable for enterprise-wide adoption of new ERP processes and ways of working, with oversight of change management strategy and execution.
- Proactively address organizational resistance by building strong stakeholder alignment, communicating a clear vision, and reinforcing the program guiding principles.
- Ensure comprehensive business readiness across all impacted areas, including training, communication, role clarity, and transition planning.
- Act as a visible change champion, consistently reinforcing expectations, accountability, and the importance of standardization.
- Drive organizational readiness and user adoption.
- Provide oversight of the SI and other key vendors supporting the ERP program.
- Ensure vendor delivery aligns with agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
- Drive accountability for milestone achievement, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
- Partner with IT Program Manager to manage dependencies between business, IT, and vendor workstreams.
- Partner with IT and SI teams on delivery.
- Continuously drive assessment and timely resolution of risks, issues, actions and decisions
- Lead business readiness for cutover and support post-go-live stabilization.
- Ensure business data readiness and alignment to standardized processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related business discipline.
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience with a broad business background.
- Proven track record leading or playing a senior leadership role in large-scale ERP implementations or enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Experience with delivering high level presentations to company executives.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, manufacturing, or similarly complex, process-driven industries preferred.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide ERP programs and working with Systems Integrators preferred.
