The Mill Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Mill (Pellets, Bemis, Flake & Mesh) of Industrial, Food grade and Pharmaceutical grade salt by performing the tasks listed below either personally or through hourly bargaining unit employees.

The Mill Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Mill (Pellets, Bemis, Flake & Mesh) of Industrial, Food grade and Pharmaceutical grade salt by performing the tasks listed below either personally or through hourly bargaining unit employees.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures environmental, health, and safety (EHS), and General Management Practices (GMP) performance and compliance
- Accountable for the Mill Operations
- Establishes and ensures achievement of all unit key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manages area budget/cost, volume, and quality.
- Manages department project capital budget.
- Manages equipment and process reliability.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related technical degree is strongly preferred or ten (10) plus years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ supervisor experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficient in SAP-preferred
