Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and ETL tools like Talend and Bash (Unix shell).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Visio to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for various stakeholders.
- Design and optimize database schemas in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver projects aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables through effective project management practices.
- Support data integration efforts by working with linked data sources and ensuring data quality across systems.
- Document processes and workflows related to database design, analysis procedures, and project specifications using Visio or similar tools.
- Stay current with industry best practices in analytics, database design, and data visualization to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with data analysis tools such as R, Python, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Talend, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Visio.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and Agile project management methodologies.
- Expertise in database design, ETL processes, linked data integration, and business analysis.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms like Tableau and Power BI for creating interactive dashboards.
- Knowledge of project management principles to effectively coordinate multiple initiatives.
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
