The Commodity Coordinator is a full-time position within the Product Delivery team, assisting the Inventory Control Coordinators and Commodity Managers in leveraging purchases across the company to ensure the best total cost position is realized for the company.

The Commodity Coordinator is a full-time position within the Product Delivery team, assisting the Inventory Control Coordinators and Commodity Managers in leveraging purchases across the company to ensure the best total cost position is realized for the company.

Essential Functions
- Investigates discrepancies in receiving and shipping orders, timely resolving invoicing issues to ensure proper payment based on payment terms.
- Processes purchase orders with distributors to meet production and inventory requirements.
- Tracks commodity inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages or excess.
- Monitors and reports on lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
- Evaluates supplier quotes, bids, and proposals to identify cost savings opportunities.
- Assists members of the purchasing team to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Provides administrative and analytical support for commodity-related projects.
- Collaborates with vendors to support Tool Room inventory control practices and ensure the timely availability, accuracy, quality, and cost-effectiveness of tools, tooling components, consumables, and related materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with equivalent years of relevant experience
- Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced functions
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow through
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Annual compensation range at $48,000 to $52,000
