We are looking for a driven, highly organized, and self-motivated Social Media & Content Manager to take full ownership of our video and social media channels.


This is not a passive role. We need someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done without being asked twice.


You will manage 3 YouTube channels, coordinate an outsourced editing team, including international contractors, and keep an entire content production system running smoothly. You will work directly with our founders to ensure content gets scripted, filmed, edited, uploaded, repurposed, and distributed consistently and on schedule.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing the full content pipeline across 3 YouTube channels, from script support through publishing

• Coordinating with and holding accountable an outsourced editing team, including international editors

• Uploading videos to YouTube with accurate metadata, titles, descriptions, and tags

• Repurposing long-form YouTube content into Shorts, Reels, and TikToks using CapCut or similar tools

• Scheduling and publishing content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

• Managing Facebook groups and community engagement

• Supporting script writing and content planning with our founders

• Coordinating on-camera filming schedules

• Building, maintaining, and improving content workflows and systems

• Ensuring quality control and attention to detail at every stage of the process

• Proactively identifying bottlenecks and solving them without being asked


Who You Are

• You have extreme initiative and do not wait to be told what to do next

• You are obsessively organized and systematic

• You build checklists, track deadlines, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks

• You communicate clearly and directly, especially when managing remote team members

• You have a sharp eye for quality and details matter to you

• You are not comfortable with mediocre work

• You are comfortable managing people and holding them accountable to timelines and standards

• You can handle multiple moving pieces at once without losing track

• You take ownership — if something is not done, you find a way to get it done


Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media accounts and/or YouTube channels

• Hands-on experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok

• Proficiency with CapCut or similar short-form video editing tools

• Proficiency with Canva

• Experience using social media scheduling tools

• Familiarity with YouTube Studio, including uploading, metadata, and analytics

• Experience coordinating or managing a team, even remotely

• Must live within 30 minutes of North Raleigh, NC

• Must be available for an in-person role

• Portfolio or examples of content you have managed or created are required to be considered


Nice to Have

• Web design experience

• Experience with project management tools such as Notion, Trello, or Asana

• Experience managing Meta Business Suite

• Experience managing Facebook Groups

• Experience with designing and creating print advertising materials

• $40,000 – $50,000 per year, hourly, commensurate with experience
