Loan Partner

MortgageWise, a division of GVC Mortgage is hiring an experienced Loan Partner to work in the Zionsville, IN location.

Our Loan Partners are responsible for providing administrative support to the sales department, assisting gathering and verifying accuracy of documents received, clearing underwriting stipulations, and other documentation to prepare loan files. This position requires an effective communication style that actively listens, seeks clarity, and is open to feedback.

What you’ll do

• Review new client files to determine best programs and options for their loan approval.
• Provide excellent communication to clients and realtor partners during the loan process.
• Research and create list of documents required for loan approval.
• Review and analyze received documentation from clients (income, assets, etc.).
• Work as a liaison between the client and the underwriter to obtain final approval on a loan.
• Contact borrowers and other sources to check or obtain items for the borrowers file.
• Manage calendars, set appointments.
• Manage CRM.
• Additional duties as assigned by Loan Officer.

Qualifications

• State NMLS license
• Experience with Office programs
• Basic understanding of mortgage programs and underwriting guidelines
• Prior experience as a mortgage processer, underwriting assistant or underwriter is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, remain stationary, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Close and distance vision is required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.
