Compensation & Benefits: $ 24.00 to $ 35.00 per hour, dependent on experience

Role Overview

Retail Loan Processors play an integral part within the sales organization and serve as the company’s voice, partner and liaison to our customers. Our team members provide a superior level of customer service to internal and external customers. Our team members are committed to adhering to the integrity of the company’s ability to sell the loan by following established guidelines, policies and procedures found in the Continuity Book and other company-specific resources.

Essential Functions: 

• Verify all required disclosures, checklists, and program-specific documents are present.
• Maintain the Loan Origination System (LOS) with real-time status updates and detailed conversation logs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers to collect missing documentation.
• Coordinate with third parties (appraisers, title companies, employers) to clear loan conditions.
• Communicate underwriting approvals and status updates to Loan Officers and clients.
• Prepare and submit finalized loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
• Ensure all closing instructions and documents are delivered to the title company on schedule.
• Review final settlement statements with the Loan Officer prior to closing.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Experts to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is an essential function of this role.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

• Previous experience working with FHA, VA and USDA loans and websites is required.  
• Minimum three (3) years of mortgage processing, underwriting, originating or a combination of all aspects.

Physical Requirements 

• Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer.
• Periodic movement about inside the work/home office. 
• Occasionally lifting to 10 pounds.
