Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage soil moisture on a given route
- Assist scouting fields for insects, weeds, diseases, and overall crop health
- Assist with soil sampling, field mapping, record keeping, and various crop production activities
- Potato sampling, testing, and grading
- Analytical lab work, documentation and interpretation of results will also be required
- Background in Production Agriculture a plus
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, organized and able to work without direct supervision
- Good work ethic; honest, trustworthy and passionate about farming
- Ability to follow company processes and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
