What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Morson International?
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to Project Management and Applications/Regional Customer Applications Engineering teams.
- Participate in or lead Customer Kick-Off Meetings and Design Liaison Meetings with customers and their design partners.
- Review contract documentation and clearly communicate project requirements to all design functions through internal documentation tools and ongoing coordination with engineering teams.
- Identify and resolve engineering schedule risks, taking proactive steps to prevent delivery delays and ensure timely customer deliverables.
- Offer technical support across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, supplier, and installation teams to ensure all equipment meets customer specifications and business goals.
- Track and manage vendor documentation to support overall project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10%.
- Strong capability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions effectively.
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Proven creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
- Background or familiarity with plant system design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, installation, and/or testing.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing processes.
Pay: $47.00 - $57.00 per hour
